FCC F-140 device driver does not reflect range

Post by timaas »

The FCC F-140 RF current probe is usable, according to FCC specification, from 100kHz till 1GHz.
Radimation states that this is 1MHz till 1300MHz. this is incorrect and causes me to use "tricks" (= fake probe) to make things work.
I do not want this and would like to see Radimation to reflect the real freq. range as specified by the manufacturer.

Please adjust device driver for the FCC F-140 probe.

thanks

I checked the specifications of the FCC F-140 device.
On the Fischer CC website it states that the F-140 is usable from 1 MHz. ( http://www.fischercc.com/ViewProductGro ... word=f-140 )

Do you want to use the F-140A, or are you using the F-140?

Thanks in advance.

I checked the list of available device drivers.
The FCC F-140A is already for a long time included in the list of device drivers (at least since feb. 2009).
It's accepted frequency range is from 100 kHz up to 1 GHz.
