is there a driver for the Schwarzbeck FCVU EMI Reveicer?

Hello Steffen,

We currently do not have a device driver to control the Schwarzbeck FCVU 1534 EMI receiver.
(see: http://www.schwarzbeck.de/artikel.php?lang=1&kat=FM).

Based on the information on their website, Schwarzbeck describes that the FCVU does have a IEEE 488 interface, and that they have their own software to control/read-out the FCVU 1534 EMI Receiver. So technically it should be possible to create a device driver for this device.
However, currently we do not have the correct documentation regarding the remote control of the FCVU EMI receiver. That documentation is required before we can create a device driver. Do you have some documentation regarding the remote control of the FCVU?

At the moment, I don't have documents regarding to the remote control. But in the next days I will get informations.
When I send you the documents, is it possible to create a driver for the FCVU?

If you provide me with the remote-control documentation, we are able to create a device driver for it.
However we will not be able to test the correctness of this device driver because we do not have access to the device itself.
If you are willing to help us to test the new device driver, we can create the new device driver as a combined effort.

Hello Steffen,

We did receive the documentation and the example. I also read it, and I believe to understand how it should be controlled. (It is not a very common principle that is used, and it is a little bit cryptic ).
Based on this information we can create a new device driver for the Schwarzbeck FCVU, however it is to estimate when this new device driver will be finished.
