This version 2015.1.5 is the new major version that has been validated at DARE!! Measurements for two weeks. During this two week period no problems have been found. We however strongly advise to test this each new version of RadiMation on for example a seperate PC or laptop before you start using it on a daily basis.

We also include several improvements and new functionalities in version 2015.1.5, the most important improvements are:
  • A lot of crashes/exceptions are resolved.
  • The Uniform Field Area (UFA) calculation is more flexible, and able to do a calculation with more than 16 points
  • Multi AD-Convertor support
  • Several user interface and usability improvements.
  • Customizable texts above the graph.
  • Report generator fixes.
  • Test data is saved during the test.
  • Better control of measurement equipment.
Especially the support for multiple AD-Convertors is a major improvement. This new functionality allows to use multiple AD-Convertors in the same immunity test. There is no need anymore that the measured AD-Channels are measured from the same physical AD-Convertor device. An unlimited number of different physical AD-Convertor devices can be used within the same test. At the same time, we also simplified the configuration of the AD-Channel configuration. In previous RadiMation versions it was always needed to specify the Min-value and Max-value of an AD-Channel, and these values had to recalculated to perform a calculation on the measured value. With this new updated version, it is much simpler to add an offset or to apply a multiplication factor to the measured value. It is even possible to specify more complex algorithmic formulas that should be applied on the measured value. And there is no need anymore to specify the Min-Value and the Max-Value. And all this new functionality is also available for all existing device drivers.
In this same update, we also made it possible to specify AD-Channels in the TestSite configuration. This allows to configure AD-Channels that are related to the testsite and not specific for the EUT. These AD-Channels will then be measured when the testsite is selected in an immunity test. These AD-Channels can for example be used to measure and monitor the temperature and humidity in the measurement chamber.
Additionally we also made it possible to include other device drivers in the AD-Channel configuration. This allows to include a powermeter device driver as an AD-Channel, which will then use the result of a powermeter measurement as an AD-Channel measurement value. All powermeter device drivers are already modified to support this new functionality.

We always advise to thoroughly test EACH new RadiMation software version to determine if it works correctly in your situation with your equipment, before you use it for daily measurements. This is even a requirement for all ISO 17025 accredited test-labs. To enable customers to validate new software versions before they implement that new software version, we even made it possible to install multiple versions of RadiMation side-by-side on a single PC. This side-by-side installation is normally not possible with other programs but is especially implemented in RadiMation.
