New version: RadiMation version 2018.1.4

We have released an updated version of the RadiMation software, which includes several improvements and fixes for problems that have been detected since the release of the 2018.1.3 version.
This version 2018.1.4 has been validated by our internal software quality checks. We strongly advise to test and verify (according to your quality system) this and each new version of RadiMation at for example a separate PC or laptop with your setup and with your measurement equipment, before you are going to use it for daily operation.

We always advise to thoroughly test EACH new RadiMation software version to determine if it works correctly in your situation with your equipment, before you use it for daily measurements. This is even a requirement for all ISO 17025 accredited test-labs. To enable customers to validate new software versions before they implement that new software version, we even made it possible to install multiple versions of RadiMation side-by-side on a single PC. It is of course also possible to perform this validation on for example a separate PC or laptop.

Known issues
  • #9118: Ambient suppression in Multiband Emission GTEM causes that the GTEM correlation is not performed
If you have a problem or question, please do not hesitate to report it to us, so we can continue to improve RadiMation.

Fixed issues
The following issues are fixed in this 2018.1.4 version (compared to the 2018.1.3 version):
  • #5261: Frequency plot can't be printed
  • #5636: R&S ESPI 3 error Data out of range SCAN1:BAND:RES
  • #5783: R&S ESU 26: Error -222: Data out of range. Depending on the preamplifier that is used
  • #6373: R&S ESU 40: Error -222: Data out of range SCAN1:BAND:RES 1 KHZ
  • #6811: Add new RadiMation startup Reseller logo
  • #7329: Using multiple bands that switch preamplifier on and off gives error: R&S Receiver ESU 8
  • #7482: RBW and SpanCentreFrequency order. Unable to set frequency multiband
  • #7728: Unicode: clsFile EUT information is saved as ascii. Unicode characters are saved and read as '???'
  • #8600: Spectrum Analyser frequency out of range with PreAmplifier MB
  • #8691: Frequency out of range at second measurement.
  • #8730: Source array was not long enough. Check srcIndex and length, and the array's lower bounds.
  • #9129: RadiMation crash when GPIB-Board is not installed or not configured correctly (GPIB-EDVR)
  • #9177: Unable to open measurement files (_Object reference not set to an instance of an object..)
  • #9188: Corrupt testfile, no data is visible in the graph
  • #9221: Receiver (ID1691) Input 2: Specific System Error: -222,"Data out of range; SCAN1:BAND:RES 1 KHZ"
  • #9247: Wrong output for Keyword ||DESCRIPTION||
