New version: RadiMation version 2019.1.5

Post by roge »

We have released an updated version of the RadiMation software, which includes several improvements and fixes for problems that have been detected since the release of the 2019.1.4 version.
This version 2019.1.5 has been validated by our internal software quality checks. We strongly advise to test and verify (according to your quality system) this and each new version of RadiMation at for example a separate PC or laptop with your setup and with your measurement equipment, before you are going to use it for daily operation.

Download
The new 2019.1.5 release of RadiMation can now be downloaded from the DARE!! web-site. Image

We always advise to thoroughly test EACH new RadiMation software version to determine if it works correctly in your situation with your equipment, before you use it for daily measurements. This is even a requirement for all ISO 17025 accredited test-labs. To enable customers to validate new software versions before they implement that new software version, we even made it possible to install multiple versions of RadiMation side-by-side on a single PC. It is of course also possible to perform this validation on for example a separate PC or laptop.

New functionality
We also include several improvements and new functionalities in version 2019.1.5, the most important improvements are:
  • Improved auto scaling of graphs
  • A lot of fixes for unhandled exceptions
  • General code improvements
  • 25 improvements or fixes
Noteworthy new device drivers that have been added:
  • Keysight Technologies DSOX4154A
Known issues
  • #9118: Ambient suppression in Multiband Emission GTEM causes that the GTEM correlation is not performed
If you have a problem or question, please do not hesitate to report it to us, so we can continue to improve RadiMation.

Fixed issues
The following issues are fixed in this 2019.1.5 version (compared to the 2019.1.4 version):
  • #8672: Limit line file printout shows no units in the table for Frequency and Value.
  • #9259: HTTPS version of RADIWIKI site
  • #9519: SMR 4503: Not all bytes are written to the GPIB-Board within the timeout period (GPIB: EABO)
  • #9925: Reporting in Excel not functioning well in 2019.1.2
  • #9970: DARE!! Instruments RSS2010I: Device stream is not connected
  • #10014: Radiated Emission Tower does not stop
  • #10045: Activate HTTPS support for HelixALM website
  • #10052: Keysight Technologies DSOX4154A
  • #10082: Rounded frequency steps.
  • #10099: Device specific setting in the RPR3006W for 'Edge Fall Time'
  • #10109: "|| TEMPERATURE ||" exports wrong string
  • #10115: Switch matrix sends scientific notation numbers
  • #10119: EM-Test Compact NX5 VDIP - checkered flag not visible after test
  • #10148: Pulsed immunity EFT Multiband - Export icons pass are not consistent.
  • #10156: CI: Forward power reads 40 db too high
  • #10159: RadiMation 2019.1.4 using a fixed min and max for Y axis does not work anymore.
  • #10160: 1GHz radiated EMI: Amplitude scale not automatically adjusted.
  • #10161: CI- 2019.1.4 does not output the time column in the report generator anymore
  • #10169: When logging the results of the CW measurements in the multiband method, the line-wise assignment between frequency and signal power and / or output power is not correct! The same applies to the documentation of the Apparent Power
  • #10170: The graphs for harmonic and compression power measurements are incorrectly formatted. This may be due to the incorrect designation of the frequency axis (Hz instead of MHz).
  • #10174: Graphs: Fixed limits are scaling instead of being fixed.
  • #10187: Exporting Electrical field probe line as cal file not possible
  • #10193: Index out of bounds when showing polar plot.
  • #10194: Lock timeout on etherds
  • #10195: Height Graph: Height plot: Max Peak for peak 1 not drawn in graph.
