Test Equipment migration

Post by labemcteseo »

Hi all,

I would like to create all the test equipments on my pc for a customer and then copy them on his pc.

Is it possible? Are they simple files like corrections, limits, and so on?

Thanks for supporting us!

Dear Claudio,

Just to 100% sure, are we taking about driver configurations?
In other words do you want to create the signal generator configurations etc. before going to an installation?
Or do you want to create the complete test site step up on your laptop and migrate this to the customers pc?

Best regards,

Hi Jeffrey,
the second example.

That is, I would like to configure almost everything on my PC and then copy all the settings I made in the PC of the customer.

Is it possible?

Thanks!

Dear Claudio,
  • Make sure RadiMation is not running
  • Rename/move the CONFDVDR directory.
  • Create new folder CONFDVDR.
  • Start RadiMation
  • Configure everything.
  • Copy the CONFDVDR directory to the customer pc
  • Copy the limit line etc. directories
Remark: The directory structure need to be exactly the same as the customers pc for this to work.

Best regards,

Hi Jeffrey,
is working fine! In this way I can easily switch between our test configuration and any customer configuration.

Thanks a lot!
