The 'Synchronisation with file is lost' is displayed upon opening an existing EUT, with the below details:
Description: Synchronisation with file is lost
Error: 536871964
Hexadecimal error: 0x2000041C
Type: Unknown
Time: 03/03/2015 16:27:36
Executable: RADRESRC.DLL
Location: clsOldclsErrorErrors
Related location: RadiMation
RadiMation version: 2014.2.8
The KB does not provide any useful info http://wiki.dare.nl/wiki/index.php/Radi ... _536871964
Have tried manually opening the EUT file, so in turn opening Radiamaiton but still will not start.
Creating a new EUT is fine. Dropbox has always been used and although we know Radimation gets upset at times when saving, it has been fine.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Dave

Re: Synchronisation with file is lost
Reinstalled 2014.2.8 and no changes. Previous version installed (2014.2.6 no change).
Have just downloaded/installed RadiMation 2015.1.3 (Beta release), and this allowed all EUT's to be opened up perfectly.
Running 2014.2.8 still shows:

RadiMation version: 2014.2.8
So what ever has broken, has been fixed in the BETA version?

Re: Synchronisation with file is lost
Hello Dave,
Based on the current information, it is difficult to determine the exact cause of the reason that the 'synchronisation with file is lost'.
It is indeed possible that this problem is resolved in the latest BETA version. I checked our software issue database, but I couldn't find any known or possible related issue.
We are however willing to investigate the issue to resolve it.
Are you able to send the relevant EUT file to us? (it is also ok to send it to us at: support@radimation.com ). Then we will continue to investigate it.
Regarding your remark using Dropbox, I can report:
We are aware of some file corruption problems when RadiMation is storing files in a Dropbox shared folder, when RadiMation before version 2014.2.2 is used.
As far as we know RadiMation version 2014.2.2 and newer can be used in combination with Dropbox without any problems.
Thanks and with best regards,
John

Re: Synchronisation with file is lost
Hi John,
Many thanks for your reply.
As none of the EUTs can be opened in 2014.2.8, or earlier, but perfectly fine in the Beta 2015.1.3, I provide a ZIP of a training test in its entirety.

Re: Synchronisation with file is lost
Should you require any other files, or remote access, for diagnostic purposes, then please let me know.
Also, from memory, all 2014 versions (including 2.3, 2.6,2.8) have been an issue very occasionally when saving a test. Re-saving the test then resolves this and all OK.
To append, the EUT tests have some 200+ in the list, so maybe its more that Radimation has an occasional problem with timeouts/dropbox saving the EUT file which is some 210 KB in size.
Just checked another and it has 700 EUT tests and the EUT file is 610 KB in size.

Re: Synchronisation with file is lost
Relating to the Dropbox saving issues, the Beta version still has the same problem.
