In the Release notes of RadiMation version 2017.1, I see a mention of: "New User Interface for Sequence Testing".
What is that, and what has been improved?
What is: 'New user interface for sequence testing'?
Re: What is: 'New user interface for sequence testing'?
There indeed have been several improvements in the 'Sequence' window.
The old Sequence window looks like this:
And the new improved window looks like:
As can be seen, the new Sequence window is now using a grid for showing the selected tests, with multiple columns.
This gird also has the possibility that the 'Column Chooser' (right-click on a column header) can be used to show additional columns. So it possible to add additional columns to the list of tests.
In the following screenshot also the 'Frequency Band' and the 'RBW' columns have been added, and for those tests, where it is available, the corresponding values will be shown.
The columns that are selected will be remembered by RadiMation, and will also be shown again when a sequence file is opened.
Normally it is possible to sort the rows in the grid by clicking on one of the column headers, however that is not possible in the sequence window. Sorting of the rows is disabled in the Sequence window because it will be too confusing in relation to the order in which the test are executed.
The 'arrow up' and 'arrow down' buttons on the right side of the grid should be used to change the order in which the tests should be executed in the sequence.
Also an 'Add' button has been added on the Sequence window itself, which makes it easier to add a test. When the 'Add' button is pressed the TSF Selection window is shown, which allows to select any TSF for all the modules and tests that are available.
Those are the improvements that are included in the new Sequence window.
Do you have another suggestion that we can implement to further improve our RadiMation software?
