Microsoft message according Radilog

Post by heutink »

When starting up Radimation a Microsoft message occured on the screen. Normally we ignore this message and "Continue". Radimation starts normally up and we do the tests/measurements.
Question: is this a Radimation or Windows 10 problem? What to do about it.

Recent changes in RadiLog causes it to write an file to the RadiMation installation directory.
If RadiLog has no permission to write to this folder, this error will occur.

The issue is reported under: #8301 Unhandled exception access to the path ErrorModeFile.radilog is denied
And is fixed. This fix will be released (and included) with version 2017.1.4 and higher or version 2017.2.2 and higher.
With the fix, RadiLog will write to the %Temp% folder instead.

Two workarounds are available:
1. Set the property of RadiLog.exe (in the RadiMation installation folder) to run as Administrator.
2. Set read/write permission to that folder to "Everyone".

The RadiMation 2017.2.2 version of RadiMation (which is still a BETA) version, is now available for download. It will fix the RadiLog error message.
We expect that an updated 2017.1.4 version will also be available within a few days.
