How do you prevent that a computer virus is present in RadiMation?

Post by incognito »

I am worried that the RadiMation software contains a computer virus. Can you explain what you do to prevent that a computer virus is present in RadiMation?

The software is downloaded from us (a trusted source) and we take care to make sure the software is not infected by running virus scanners on the machines that the software is developed on. When you receive the software the software is normally also scanned by your the anti-virus solution deployed by your IT departement.

If RadiMation is infected during the download (very unlikely) your antiviruiis software will detect this. We do not have any experience with the software being infected, the only experiences we had where false positives which we were always able to clear up with the manufacturer of the antivirus software.

We hope that this information gives more understanding in how Dare!! deals with this process, if there are still questions/doubts from you or the IT department please let us know what the specific issue is and we will advise on specific questions

Regularly updated antivirus scans, secure development practices and digital signatures on software releases are implemented to prevent any virus presence.
