Copying the configuration of the graph line colors to another PC

Hi,

We have a few PC's in our EMC lab. On one of the PC's the colors for the graphlines, is as we would like to have them also on the other PC's.
We customized the colors of the graph lines on that PC by using the 'Graphs' > 'Customize...' option.

Is there a possibility to copy those graph colors also to another PC?

Thanks!

The configuration of the colors of the graphlines is part of the 'Device Driver Configuration files' directory (also known as the CONFDVDR) that is selected in the RadiMation directory configuration.

By changing all the PC's to use the same directory, the graph line colors will be available for all the other PC's.

It probably is best to put a copy of the CONFDVDR directory of the 'correct' PC on a network drive.
Then change the 'Device Driver Configuration Files' setting to that network directory.
Then the 'Device Driver Configuration Files' setting of the other PC's can also be changed to that network directory.

From then on, all the PC's will be sharing and using all the same settings for the:
  • Device driver configurations
  • Testsites
  • Graph line settings
  • Engineers
  • Global configuration settings
  • Columns (order and sorting) of tables
  • Window sizes and locations

If a completely shared configuration of all the settings is not desired, it is also possible to copy a single file to the other PC's.

The configuration of the graph line colors is present in the 'CUSTOMIZATIONS.XML' file in the 'CONFDVDR' directory.
By copying the 'CUSTOMIZATIONS.XML' file to the 'CONFDVDR' directory of another PC, the selected colors of the graph lines will be copied.

Be aware that the 'CUSTOMIZATIONS.XML' also contains a few other settings, which will thus also be copied from the 'correct' PC to the other PC's.
These are:
  • Graph line settings
  • Columns (order and sorting) of tables
  • Window sizes and locations
It is also best to first close any running RadiMation instance, then copy the 'CUSTOMIZATIONS.XML' file, and then start RadiMation again.
