Radiated Immunity Test Substitution : Is it possible to set the correct antenna polarization automatically?
It is not possible to automatically change the polarization of the antenna in a singleband immunity test.
In the Singleband Radiated Immunity calibration, and in the other Singleband immunity tests, there is an option to specify the 'Horizontal' or 'Vertical' antenna polarization, but this is only for administrative purposes. RadiMation will not automatically control the antenna polarization in a singleband immunity test.
If automatic control of the antenna polarization is desired, we advise to use the Multiband Radiated Immunity test. The Multiband Radiated Immunity Test is able to automatically control the antenna polarization.
