Multiple modulation forms during Radiated Immunity test

We are wondering if it is possible to perform Radiated Immunity using two different types of modulations (AM and PM) in the same sweep.
With this setting we could save time during the test, because the leveling is performed only once.

Yes, this should already be possible in the 2013.1.x and higher versions of RadiMation by using the Radiated Immunity Multiband test.
It is needed to configure two bands whereby each band has it's own modulation type. E.g. the first band with the AM modulation settings and the second band with the PM modulation settings. The frequency range of both bands are the same.
You now have to modify the "Change order" and place the "Modulation" parameter on top of this list.

By placing this 'modulation' above the 'frequency' in the change-order, both modulations will be tested in the same sweep.

Hi together,
are the data for both modulation stored or data of test with first modulation will be overwritten by data of test with second modulation (see also #4001)?

Hello Marius,
Due to item #4001, it is indeed possible that the data of the second modulation will overwrite the data of the first modulation.
A workaround for this problem is available. If you use different names for the test-levels and the measurement inputs, the data will not overwrite each other anymore and the data of the two different modulations will be available as differently named graph lines.

For which situation do you need a workaround for a AD converter?
It should already be possible to use an AD converter during these kind of tests.
Can you provide more detailed information, on what you want to achieve and why you need a workaround?

Hello,
when I do that kind of test the results from the first band is overwriten by the results from the second band.

I now understand that you want to know if there is a similar workaround when using the AD Converter when using Multiple modulation forms during a Radiated Immunity test as the workaround used for the test-levels and the measurement inputs.
Unfortunately this is indeed still a problem due to issue #4001 and there is no workaround available.
We therefore, have now added a new report of your company to this item (#4001) as well.
