In a multiband radiated immunity test, the following test-level types are supported:
  • Power closed loop method: The generated power is regulated to be at least the specified power value, where the power is based on the measurement of the forward-, reflected- or signal-power.
  • Measured power limit: The generated power is limited to specified power value, where the power is based on the measurement of the forward-, reflected- or signal-power.
  • Electrical field closed loop method: The generated electrical field is regulated to be at least the specified electrical field value, based on the measurement of one or more electrical field probes.
  • Measured electrical field limit: The generated electrical field is limited to the specified electrical field, based on the measurement of one or more eletrical field probes.
  • Electrical Field substitution method: The generated electrical field is regulated to be at least the specified electrical field value, based on the electrical field calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Calculated Electrical Field limit: The generated electrical field is limited to the specified electrical field, based on the electrical field calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Measured current limit: The generated current is limited to the specified current, based on the measurement of the current.
  • Measured voltage limit: The generated voltage is limited to the specified voltage, based on the measurement of the voltage.
  • Magnetic Field closed loop method: The generated magnetic field is regulated to be at least the specified magnetic field value, based on the measurement of the magnetic field.
  • Magnetic Field limit: The generated magnetic field is limited to the specified magnetic field, based on the measurement of the magnetic field.
  • Magnetic Field substitution method: The generated magnetic field is regulated to be at least the specified magnetic field value, based on the magnetic field calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Calculated Magnetic field limit: The generated magnetic field is limited to the specified magnetic field, based on the magnetic field calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Minimum performance: The generated power is limited based on the influence of the EUT, that is based on the measurement of the AD-convertor
In a multiband conducted immunity test, the following test-level types are supported:
  • Power closed loop method: The generated power is regulated to be at least the specified power value, where the power is based on the measurement of the forward-, reflected- or signal-power.
  • Measured power limit: The generated power is limited to specified power value, where the power is based on the measurement of the forward-, reflected- or signal-power.
  • Measured electrical field limit: The generated electrical field is limited to the specified electrical field, based on the measurement of one or more electrical field probes.
  • Current closed loop method: The generated current is regulated to be at least the specified current, based on the measurement of the current.
  • Measured current limit: The generated current is limited to the specified current, based on the measurement of the current.
  • Current substitution method: The generated current is regulated to be at least the specified current, based on the conducted immunity calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Calculated current limit: The generated current is limited to the specified current, based on the conducted immunity calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Voltage closed loop method: The generated voltage is regulated to be at least the specified voltage, based on the measurement of the voltage.
  • Measured voltage limit: The generated voltage is limited to the specified voltage, based on the measurement of the voltage.
  • Voltage substitution method: The generated voltage is regulated to be at least the specified voltage, based on the conducted immunity calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Calculated Voltage limit: The generated voltage is limited to the specified voltage, based on the conducted immunity calibration file, and the specified forward-, net- or signal-power measurement.
  • Magnetic Field limit: The generated magnetic field is limited to the specified magnetic field, based on the measurement of the magnetic field.
  • Minimum performance: The generated power is limited based on the influence of the EUT, that is based on the measurement of the AD-convertor
A multiband immunity test will always try to regulate to a power value where all the specified test-levels are achieved. However, once a measurement value reaches one of the specified limitations, the regulation will be stopped. The final regulated power tries to be at least above all the specified test-levels, but it will never be higher than a specified limit.
