setup for capacitive voltage probe acc. cispr 16-2-1

Post by radiuser »

hi,

I want to measure with the capacitive voltage probe according cispr 16-2-1 and therefore I want to know how should be the setup for this measurement?

Do I have to do the setup as I've done it for the LISN-method like creating a new LISN (device driver) and after that adding the correction file(impedance of the probe) ?

thank you

According to the manual of the Narda probe it is described how to correct the probe insertion loss at page 8:

“The insertion loss of the probes is calibrated in a 50 ohm system over the frequency range of 9 kHz to 30 MHz.
The only difference from PMM SHC-1 and PMM SHC-2 probes is the insertion loss respectively 35 dB typical for SHC-1 and 30 dB typical for SHC-2.”

So, in RadiMation a 50 Ohm configurable LISN can be created and link the appropriate COR file with the insertion loss as described in the manual.
