We performing a radiated emission test (1 sweep) from 100 - 160 MHz with a scan of 30s/MHz, so total time is 1800s. After finishing of the test we get a "time out" error of the spectrum analyser.
In the mean time mouse and keyboard are not used during 30 min. and the laptop got into sleep during this time. Could this be the reason for the "time out" error of the spectrum analyser.
Is there a maximum on measurement time (time stamps) in relation to data points? We are now using 3001 data points on the spectrum analyser.
Second question: Is it possible to pause a emission measurement during a certain time and (re)start it later at the pause frequency to finish the sweep.
Summary: during an emission measurement we want to stop, pause, restart at pause frequency or restart of a new sweep.
