Add Coupling and decoupling network driver

Post by Rdammert »

I want to add a CDN driver for use in a Conducted Emission test. However, this CDN is not found in the available driver list. How can i add a new CDN driver for use in Conducted Emission testing?

If you want to add a CDN driver which is not found in the available drivers list.
You can add a new driver by hand, to do this follow the following steps:

1) go to Devices -> Configure -> Device Drivers.
2) Select LISN as the device driver type.
3) Press add.
4) Search for the configurable LISN, and add in the the list of drivers.
5) Double click on the new added configurable LISN driver, and open the advanced settings of the driver.
6) On the advanced setting screen, fill in the frequency range of your CDN on the Frequency range tab. If your CDN is an active device, make sure to verify if other fields can/must be filled in.
7) Close the advanced settings and driver window.
8) Add the new driver to your test site
9) verify the correct working of your new added device.

The configuration details of the 'Configurable LISN' are documented on the RadiWiki website at: https://wiki.radimation.com/wiki/index. ... rable_LISN

For a simple LISN that is not automatically controlled it is not necessary to specify any command in any of the textboxes. For a simple (non-controlled) LISN it is normally sufficient to only specify the correct start and stop frequency.
