wrong display above 1 GHz

Post by emvlab »

Hello
We installed a new Radimation version 2020.1.8 and found that the display at radiated emission above 1 GHz is about 20 dB higher than with the old version 2019.2.5. The settings are exactly the same as well as the measurement setup. What could be the cause? See the two reports in the appendix.

thanks emvlab

Dear emvlab,

To help you we need some additional information, could you please send us an error report from RadiMation?

Please see the page on our RadiWiki website that explains how an Error Report can be created and transmitted: https://wiki.radimation.com/wiki/index.php/Error_Report

I think there is no error entry because it is not recognized as an error at all?

It is indeed possible that no error situation is triggered, and thus the 'Error dialog' is not shown.
In that case we advice, to just perform the test in the new software version, and then at the end of the test select the 'Help' menu, and then select the 'Report' or 'Report Error' option. It will also show the 'Error report' window, and it will include the communication information of the last performed test.

Please describe in the textfield on the Error report dialog, what you observed, and which problem, difference or suggestion you would like to report, and then press on send.

These steps are also explained on our RadiWiki website at: https://wiki.radimation.com/wiki/index. ... g_an_issue
