For BCI (Bulk Current Injection) according to DO-160/MIL-STD-461 the substitution method is used.
For MIL-STD-461F, the two following criteria are applicable to perform the BCI test correct:
- maximum power level = power level by calibration
- maximum current level = current level by calibration + 6 dB
Within Radimation, Limitation on current is selectable and adjustable.
For DO-160G/ED-14G,the two following criteria are applicable to perform the BCI test correct:
- maximum power level = power level by calibration + 6 dB
- maximum current level = current level by calibration
Within Radimation, Limitation on power is not selectable/adjustable. I couldn't find it.
Within Radimation both options should selectable and adjustable within the substitution method, Limitation on power and limitation on current.
Do i have to select an other way of Conducted Immunity test?
BCI DO-160/MIL-461; limiting on power/current
