EN 300 328 Power measurements

Post by jobelo »

We have received the RPR2006 sensor, and my question is:
Can we use the Radipower software to perform power measurements in accordance with the 300 328 standard, or we have to use Radimation software?

Try to use Radimation but although all checks are ok (system detects the sensor), can not start measurement (see attachment all blank.jpg)

See also attachment Radipower screen.jpg (is this the correct version to use?)

Thanks in advance

For the 300 328 standard it is absolutely necessary to use RadiMation, so the RadiPower Monitor program cannot be used. Additionally we have replaced this program by RadiMation Free, so it is now not officially supported anymore.

From the screenshot it can be seen that your OS display settings are not default, but set to the medium (125%) or larger (150%) setting. It looks like this is causing the test window to be not completely visible, approximately 10% seems to be cut off. The screen should have a 'Connect' and a 'Settings' button on the bottom in the leftmost corner. We understand that this seems to be a compatibility issue with Windows which should be fixed.

For now I suggest to change the OS display settings back to the default and start RadiMation Free again. It should now show the 'Connect' button:

After you connect with the RPR you should be able to perform the test and the blank screen will go away.

Thanks for your quick reply and confirmation that it is now working. The created issue in our database (#4894: RadiMation Free can't connect with RPR Power meter) is therefore closed.
However, we will continue the investigation how we can further improve the compatibility with these OS settings.
