During radiated immunity the measurement equipment is locked and Radimation has a standard radiated immunity page layout with important information (frequency, forward power meter, field probe etc.).
When testing with client and he/she is monitoring his EUT at 1meter distance from the test computer he/she can't see which frequency we are testing, because the letterype is too small.
Also the half of the screen is empty because all the information is on the leftside of the screen no matter how big the screensize is, this layout looks outdated.
Wish:
Would like to see the important information such as frequency, forward power meter, calculated field with a bigger lettertype so the customer can see from 1/2 meter distance while monitoring the equipment under test.
important measurement parameters are unreadable
Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
RadiMation already contains a solution for this problem.
It is possible to configure RadiMation in such a way that a several measurement parameters are shown in a larger font on a customized location.
This functionality is called "enhanced status window", and can be configured in the RadiMation configuration dialog.
See the following screenshot.
The textbox before the 'Add' button can be used to specify the name of a measurement parameter. By pressing the 'Add' button the measurement parameter will be added to the list above it. All the measurement parameters that are included in the list will be shown during the test in a seperate window.
The 'Font' button can be used to specify the font, the color and the size of the text in which the measurement parameters will be shown. The colored box behind the 'Background color:' will be the background color of the window in which the measurement parameters will be shown.
With the above configuration, during a test the 'Current status' window will be shown, which includes the specified measurement parameters. See the following screenshot for the result during the test.

Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
Hi John,
it seems that the calculated current cannot be displayed in this window.

Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
Hello Marius,
I checked it, and I can confirm that at this moment it is indeed not possible to show the 'Calculated Current' or the 'Current' measurement value in the window.
I created an item in our database: #5559: Current and Calculated Current cannot be included in the Enhanced status window
I hope to have it fixed in the next release.

Hi John,
by the way this feature seems that is not functioning in multi band measurements

Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
Hello Marius,
Yes, we know. It is not working correctly in Multiband Immunity. There is already an item in our database for this:
#3038: The enhanced status window is not working in multiband immunity.
In the past it was more complicated to get this functionality working in multiband immunity, but I will investigate and reevaluate it again, to see if it is now easier to implement it.

Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
Related to the problem known as: #5559: Current and Calculated Current cannot be included in the Enhanced status window
In version 2014.2.2 it will be possible again to also show the 'Current' and 'Calculated Current' in the Enhanced status window.

Re: important measurement parameters are unreadable
I also updated the original answer in this post to include a list of all the possible enhanced measurement parameter names.
